As the heart of the entire post-harvest system, the Mathews Company (MC) LEGACY SERIES NEXT GENERATION dryer is here for you .
MC high-capacity dryers are designed for drying all types of agricultural commodities. They are atmospheric, continuous-discharge dryers with cross-flow drying medium.
Their main advantage is their modular construction, which allows a dryer with a lower capacity to be converted to a higher capacity dryer with a higher hourly output, within reason. Increasing the capacity is done by increasing the dryer by an additional section. Each section consists of a drying chamber, a separate radial fan, a burner, a system of three gas valves, manual shutoffs, a gas manostat and a safety gas pressure sensor with a separate servo-controlled gas supply and throttle valve.
The LEGACY SERIES dryer has multiple thermal drying zones that provide greater flexibility, lower fuel consumption and higher grain quality. Multi-zone drying allows the highest temperature to be applied to the wettest grain entering the grain column. Gradually in the drying process, the temperature in the lower chambers is lowered, thus increasing the grain quality and saving energy consumed.
