Cereal cleaning and its importance

These basic principles are also the basis for modern grain purifiers, but their operation is largely automated and performance is incomparably higher than the old methods. In doing so, they mainly use differences in aerodynamic properties, size and weight between grain and debris. Better equipped purifiers can also detect differences in the shape, thickness or length of the grains.
The technologies contained in the purifiers use different ways of separating the grain from the impurities. For example separation by weightprovided by the air nozzles in the air ducts. Light impurities are siphoned by the air current. At separating and sizing a combination of several sieving screens in succession is used.
