About the product
The bucket (pocket) conveyor is designed for the transport of bulk materials (cereals, oilseeds, legumes, cereal scraps, extrusions, pellets, granules, lime, cement, magnesite as well as other dusty materials) in a perpendicular direction. It is not suitable for transporting sticky materials.

The optimum conveying performance of pocket conveyors depends on the peripheral speed, number and size of pockets (scoops). The recommended peripheral speed for the transport of bulk materials is 2.0 - 3.2 m.s-1 depending on the type of material to be conveyed.
Standard design of pocket conveyors:
The pocket conveyors offered by us are made of galvanized sheet with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. The upper head and the conveying pipe are made of 2 mm thickness and the lower head of 3 mm thickness.
The upper head consists of a skeleton, a pulley with a shaft mounted in bearing houses and an electric gearbox. For conveyors with a total height of more than 10 m, the electric gearbox is equipped as standard with an electric brake or a reversing flap, whose function is to prevent the conveyor belt with scoops from reversing in the event of a fault condition. The discharge part of the head is lined with a PE-plate to increase abrasion resistance and durability.
The lower head consists of a skeleton, a pulley with a shaft mounted in bearing houses, a tensioning mechanism, a one-sided inlet lined with a PE-plate and two cleaning holes, which serve for quick emptying and cleaning of the lower head.

The conveyor bel t is composed of two parts, which will allow the replacement of damaged parts of the pipe without the need to disconnect the conveyor belt. The standard manufactured length is 2 m, on request lengths of 1 and 0.5 m can be produced.
The conveyor belt comes in rubber-textile, anti-static and oil-resistant versions as standard.
We use pockets (scoops) exclusively in the so-called teardrop shape, which is the most gentle in handling the grain. These scoops are suitable for transporting both granular and dusty materials
